The pLVX-shRNA1 Vector is a lentiviral expression vector that can be used to generate high titers of lentivirus for transducing dividing or nondividing mammalian cells. Transduced target cells will express a user-generated shRNA from the U6 promoter for the purpose of RNAi-mediated gene silencing. pLVX-shRNA1 Vector can be packaged into high-titer, replication-incompetent, VSV-G-pseudotyped lentivirus upon transfection into 293T cells, using the Lenti-X? HTX Packaging System. The resulting lentivirus can then be used to transduce virtually any mammalian cell type.
