pNTAP-B

The pNTAP expression vector is used to clone a gene of interest with the SBP and CBP affinity tags adjacent to the 5´ end of the gene. The pNTAP vector is available in three different reading frames to simplify subcloning. These reading frames, designated as A, B, and C, differ only by one or two bases. Thus, each pNTAP vector has a reading frame that will allow cloning a gene of interest so that it is fused correctly with the affinity tags. The multiple cloning site (MCS) of the pNTAP vectors allows for a variety of cloning strategies, resulting in fusion of the TAP tags to the N-terminus of the protein of interest. A Kozak consensus sequence provides optimal expression of the fusion protein.
